Cold Weather Persists Across Kuwait, Temperature Expected to Plummet

Kuwait:

The Meteorological Department has forecast continued cold weather conditions in Kuwait through Thursday, with temperatures potentially dropping below zero degrees Celsius, particularly in desert regions. The severe cold spell is expected to bring challenging weather conditions across the country.

Residents should prepare for exceptionally low temperatures, with a high likelihood of frost formation in desert and outlying areas. The meteorological report warns of potentially dangerous cold that could impact outdoor activities and vulnerable populations.

The current cold wave is anticipated to be intense, with minimum temperatures potentially reaching freezing point or lower in some locations. The department advises residents to take necessary precautions, such as wearing warm clothing, protecting sensitive plants and animals, and staying informed about weather updates.

Relief is on the horizon, however. By Friday evening, the cold weather is expected to ease, with temperatures gradually warming during the day. Additionally, there's a possibility of light rainfall in some areas, which could provide some respite from the prolonged cold spell.

Residents are encouraged to stay updated on weather forecasts and take appropriate measures to protect themselves and their property during this cold period.
